Interstate competition updates now available - WAISA Gala Competition, Dragon City Trophy and Winter Sun Information Booklet.
The convenor of Winter Sun has advised that there has been a change of draw dates for the Junior and Senior levels of Winter Sun. As this is a Qualifying event these draws will now take place on Tuesday 29th June 2010, at 5:00pm at Acacia Ridge Iceworld. All other draws will be as per the announcement.

New Zealand Masters Games will be held in Dunedin from 30 January - 8 February 2010. Figure Skating will be included in this event for skaters aged 25 years and over. Details are available on the Dunedin Ice Skating Club website. Early bird registration closes on 30 November 2009. SAISA is awaiting confirmation whether skaters should send entries directly to the organisers, or via SAISA. Any skater wishing to compete at the NZMG must be members of SAISA to be eligible. Members are advised that, since the South Australian Ice Skating Association Inc membership year was changed at the last Annual General Meeting to run from 1 January to 31 December, the next Annual General Meeting will take place during the early months of the new year. The notice of the Annual General Meeting will be published in accordance with the requirements set out in the Constitution.

Andrew Bassi is a former figure skater who is now No 4 in the world in artistic roller skating. Andrew will be representing Australia at the 54th World Roller Figure Skating Championships from Nov 10-21 in Freiburg, Germany. SAISA wishes him every success

SAISA respectfully advises members of the death of Geoffrey Taylor. Geoffrey was a past President of Ice Skating Australia and international judge. He was the father of the current Ice Skating Australia President, Cathy Taylor. The South Australian Ice Skating Association Inc., its members and colleagues both here and interstate extend their sincere condolences to Cathy and her family and friends.
